(Doc. Forensic) Educational and Clinical Forensic Workshop at Kartini Regional Hospital, Jepara,

Three Forensic colleagues who incidentally are permanent lecturers at the Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal Studies Study Program, FK Undip, had the opportunity to act at the Kartini Hospital, Jepara. This action is a community service activity targeting paramedics and medical staff.

Taking place in the Kartini Jepara Hospital Training Hall, this activity began with a pretest for participants to find out a general overview of their knowledge about forensics. This action, which is packaged in the form of seminars and workshops, takes the theme of Clinical Forensics education which will be held on October 20 2023.

Dr. Tuntas Dhanardhono, M.Si.Med., MH., Sp.FM on this occasion provided education from the Forensic Medicolegal side continued by Dr. Intarniati Nur Rohmah, Sp.F, M.Subsp.F.K(K)., M.Si.Med who provided knowledge from the Clinical Forensic side and was accompanied by material on Medical Ethics by Dr. Sigid Kirana Lintang Bhima, Sp.F.M.Subsp.E.M(K).,M.Sc. After completing the material, the participants were enthusiastic in taking part in the workshop with various materials such as embalming, making a Visum et Repertum and techniques as Expert Witnesses.

“RSUD R.A Kartini collaborates with FK UNDIP Forensic doctors to discuss various specific and current themes that are often encountered by doctors, especially general practitioners at first-level health facilities to increase professionalism, competence and efficiency by optimally utilizing technology, especially information technology. “At this event, we have the opportunity to share information about various scientific disciplines, the latest developments in diagnosis and treatment which can be useful in daily practice,” said Ka.
